Infinite Studios has completed the construction of its production facility on Batam Island. It consists of 2 soundstage (30,000 and 18,000 sq ft), a 1 hectare back-lot production space and 20,00 sq ft of supporting facilities i.e production office, art dept, mill. It is currently producing its first feature film with co-production partner HBO Asia scheduled for release late 2012. It’s Singapore soundstage facilities is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in Oct 2012.



Tatsumi, an animated feature produced by Infinite Studio’s animation division was featured in Cannes 2011
under “Uncertain Regard” category, won Best Animated Feature at SITGES (Barcelona) and was nominated at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards under the Best Animated Film category.



“2359”, a horror feature produced under Infinite Studio’s “Gorylah” label has just been released in Malaysia
after becoming the 2nd highest box office grossing local film in Singapore in 2011. Worldwide rights has been acquired by Thai outfit Sahamongkol Film. 



Infinite Studios has appointed Dayne Cowan as Vice President of its Post, VFX and CGI business
. Dayne who hails from Australia and has worked in the VFX industry for 16 years with Double Negative, Cinesite and Molinare will be in charge of the day to day operations of Infinite Studios post, VFX and CGI business. Dayne’s credits include Harry Porter, Tomb Raider, Batman Begins and 10,000 BC. Ian Bailie, a BAFTA nominated Art Director and Production Designer also joins Infinite Studios’ soundstage and backlot division and will spearhead the art direction and design activities of the studio. His credits include “Pride and Prejudice” and “Atonement”.
